Purpose of Role: The Weir Minerals Division is looking for a highly skilled, experienced PI System Engineerwith extensiveOSlsoft Pl systemexperience in real-time data collection and analysis.
 

As our new colleague you will help us buildingthe next generation of intelligentsolutionsleveragingPI System. You will be responsible for creating and managing Asset Framework, Analysis, integrating with PI using Web APIs and helping in configuring and maintaining the PI servers. It is expected that you would have strong Edge knowledge and skillset in MQTT, OPC etc.

This is anexecution focusedposition where you will beplayingan importantrole in ourIIoT platform and data strategy team. It will require excellent communication and engagement skills and you will need to be highly collaborative working across global, virtual, and matrixed teams. Experience

• 3+ years of OSIsoft PI System experience with Asset Framework, Asset Analytics and PI Vision

  
  

Skillset

• A solid understanding of the OSIsoft PI system platforms and experience designing, planning, and deploying highly available and performant system architectures

  
  

• Experience implementing PI analytics with PI Asset Framework, Performance Equations, PI Integrator for Business Analytics, and externally-hosted data services

  
  

• Experience developing high quality data visualizations in Microsoft PowerBI,Tableau, Spotfire, or other similar tools.

  
  

• Superb analytical and troubleshooting skills and methodical approaches to solving difficult problems

  
  

• Team oriented, but self-driven

  
  

• Eager to demonstrate value by sharing knowledge with others

  
  

Highly Desirable

• Experience and certifications for other AVEVA products including System Platform, Operations Control, and Predictive Analytics

  
  

• Experience writing software applications and web services using SDK's and API's in a disciplined coding and testing environment

  
  

• Experience installing and tailoring OSIsoft PI system for specific use cases including condition based maintenance, process optimization, process visualization, alarming and notification, and reporting

  
  

• Experience working with PLC and DCS-based control systems
