Overview Main Purpose: Create data visualizations and reports to unlock sales & share trends across e-commerce Integrate advanced analytics into Business Intelligence solutions to deliver clear and meaningful insights to the business Deploy data platforms and applications to enable business users and data analysts alike to rapidly derive value from raw data Work with stakeholders to drive data excellence across the organization and empower self-service capabilities, creating a more robust data environment Develop scalable tools to drive automation and optimize business operations Responsibilities Together with the Product Manager gather, understand, & document requirements from business users Own business layer mapping, references and hierarchies Recognize and access required data from multiple databases using appropriate languages Design reporting and business intelligence products, including visualizations & self-service tools for Sector team and support BUs where appropriate Continuous improvement and maintenance of business intelligence solutions, including eComm IQ Design knowledge sharing of data excellence practices to empower business users to self-serve their data needs Present products to business users and seek feedback for continued improvement Provide business analytics guidance as needed to ensure a quality project solution Integrate advanced analytics into Business Intelligence solutions to deliver clear and meaningful insights to the business Support analytics products in production Develop scalable tools to drive automation and optimize business operations Stay current with competitors and emerging technology Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM related area preferred) Intermediate development experience with at least 1 data visualization platform (Tableau preferred; bonus: PowerBI, Looker, etc.) Experience writing complex SQL queries to retrieve dimensional data Experience working with data transformation tools Programming in Python, R or JavaScript is a plus Experience with Jira and Agile project management (Nice-to-have) Experience in data science or advanced analytics a plus Understand practices and challenges related to collecting, harmonising and transforming large & complex sets of data Strong professional communication skills with both technical & non-technical audiences Experience developing internal tools / applications
