Data Analytics - Analyst

As an Analytics Professional in our Finance team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm. You will be assisting with data & management reporting development agenda for regulatory operations. You will learn core business processes, build new data mart capabilities, develop metrics/management reporting, and provide decision support via ad hoc reporting and data analytics.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Understand requirements and distill information and results into simple concepts and actionable insights for a variety of audiences by regular connects with business and functional stakeholders.
• Define, design, and drive high priority strategic initiatives with senior level visibility in areas above – ranging from delivering business initiatives to engineering enabling capabilities with excellent presentation skills.
• Understand business problems/processes and design solutions/methodologies that are rooted in data
• Design and execute repeatable and scalable data solutions (extraction / mining / modeling / visualization)

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Analytics
• Need hands on experience with SQL, Alteryx 
• Knowledge of  Distributed file systems, e.g., Hadoop, AWS. Jira & MS Office
• Graduate/Postgraduate, preferably with Computer Science Engineering 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Effectively communicate insights/recommendations (verbal and written)
• Team player with a demonstrated strong work ethic.
• Good to have Python, Qlik Sense or Tableau
