Job Description
Mandatory skills:
- Excellent Understanding of AOSP architecture and concepts
- Strong knowledge of Android application Framework, Boot and Memory optimizations
- Strong Knowledge on Android debug tool usage (Perfetto, GPU overdraw, profiler etc)
- Preferably with Automotive Android experience
- Multi threaded application development experience
- Experience in multi process and multiprocessor communication framework in Android
- Extremely proficient in Java, Android SDK, JNI, C++, JSON, Sqlite, RESTful APIs
- Knowledge in usage of Kotlin
- Need to have good knowledge of Android Core Components and IPC(AIDL) mechanism like Binders
- Experience with Android HAL and HIDL – Audio, Graphics, Camera, Sensors, Automotive etc.
- Android services – Media and System services
- Knowledge in Android run time, Native libraries
- AOSP – build and adaptation
Preferred skills:
- Basic understanding of Linux kernel architecture and device drivers / BSP
- Experience with Android GAS
- Android automotive
Key responsibilities include:
- Requirements analysis and clarification
- Prepare concepts & design for HMI & HMI application Framework
- Prepare concepts & design for extensions in android services and managers
- Create custom service and managers
- Technical clarifications with stakeholders
- Team engagement, motivation and competency build-up
- Ensuring quality of deliverables
- Risk identification and escalation to Project Manager
- Developing or modifications of Android framework and native layers components
- Close operations with other leaders and project managers
- Resolving Complex technical issues

BE/ME/Btech/Mtech

Should have 12-16 years of experience with Android and application development.
