Front End Engineer

You would act as a UI Developer role to provide a highly motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully contribute to the team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, extensive development experience, and will be able to learn quickly.

As a UI Developer, you will:

• Developing new user-facing features using Angular JS
• Accurately translate user and business needs into functional, secure and efficient frontend design and code.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries empowering rapid development 
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality implementation
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across web-capable devices and browsers 
• Collaborate with backend and quality engineers to spec, write, test, and deploy code that integrates with data streams and API endpoints. 
• Utilise responsive design techniques and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Perform code reviews and improve/ensure the quality of product.

We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent education
• 3 to 8 years of UI development experience
• Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks (AngularJS 1.5 to 5, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS- at least one)
• Experience with CSS pre-processors like LESS or SASS.
• Problem solving skills and ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Strong analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledgeable of REST API patterns and design concerns.
• Knowledgeable of the performance, scalability & security considerations for web applications.
• Proficient with debugging and testing tools to troubleshoot and optimize the UI.
• Understanding of front-end security best practices and XSS, CSRF, etc
• Solid understanding of user interactions required for Single-Page Applications.
• Strong communication skills -- both verbal and written – and able to quickly learn and implement new technologies, application appropriate frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of SOAR/SIEM platforms, working with SOC teams will be advantage.
