Purchasing Project Manager - Techno-commercial specialization in Electro Mechanical/Mechanical & Electronics

First point of contact for BU/ Program 

BOM Costing (Calculation, Negotiation with business partners, target alignment with program management )

Execute /implementation of Ratio projects (VA/VE)

Liaise and support work packages which includes localization & platform projects for Automotive business & Emerging Business Field

Liaise between CFT and business partner for techno commercial activities ( Part of SE team ) 

Ability to transfer technical requirements to business partner in alignment with engineering 

Managing complex project (Ex : Multi cultural, Complex supply chain, Multiple commodities)

Single point of contact for Business Unit for purchasing activities. 

Steer Global and Local SE meetings in Coordination with product engineering, business partners, lead plant and program managers for all projects.

Representing Purchasing in Quality Gates and Supporting as interface between program management and purchasing organization for strategic and organizational topics 

Finding suitable component as per technical requirement from electronics supplier base/ Open market

Coordination between commercial buyer, Supplier development, manufacturing & logistics team on administration,

Input for supplier strategy to global commodity buyer and manager

Coordination for taskforce with business partners and supplier development team for improvement activities  (Lean and ramp up)

Support and coordinate the new initiatives in the department
(Waste elimination, continues improvement & strategic topic )

B.E in Electronics/Mechanical/Electrical with 5 to 12 years of experience 

In Deep knowledge on neutral data sheets and understanding of MPNs

Electronics supply chain risk management knowledge.

Electronics supplier/distributor base knowledge within India & global.

Technical know how on active & passive components

Basic technical know-how on manufacturing process i.e. casting / plastic / electro-mechanical parts.

Basic knowledge on raw material used & relevant source

Know-how on zero based costing.

Good knowledge on SAP & other IT tools.

Following Knowledge / experience/qualification  will be an added advantage:

MBA from the reputed institute

Power-BI, RPA & Data Analytics qualification

PMP Certification 

Scrum master experience
