The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have an in-depth understanding of engineering standards, project management, and regulatory compliance. You will guide a multidisciplinary team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and under budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee the implementation of various civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
Lead the design and development of project plans, blueprints, and technical documentation. Ensure that designs meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and technicians to drive project success. Provide regular training, performance evaluations, and career development.
Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements. Manage client expectations and build long-term relationships.
Ensure all projects meet government and industry standards, including safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and quality controls.
Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruption.
Provide regular status updates to senior management, clients, and stakeholders, detailing project progress, challenges, and financial performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with demonstrated success in a leadership or management role.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is required.
Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
In-depth understanding of engineering principles and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
