Summary

Maintain services and supports equipment, tools and products. Assembles, installs and commissions new equipment.


Job Responsibilities
  • Provide installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair services on HMH equipment.
  • Document all services performed and actions carried out on field service technical reports.
  • Stay current on information contained in Product and Safety Bulletins.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationship with client personnel.
  • Co-ordinate with service manager and service account managers (SAM) for required parts, materials, support, etc.
  • Advise SAM of modifications or upgrades to HMH equipment.
  • Supervise sub-contracted personnel.
  • Stay current on information with HMH software procedures and ensure software is handled according to available QA guidelines.
  • Provide training to internal & external clients.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in installation, troubleshooting, and repair of Siemens PLC programming and electrical operated equipment of HMH equipment.
  • Degree in Engineering, preferably within the fields of engineering.
  • Ability to read schematic and layout drawings.
  • Good knowledge of internal procedures and concepts.
  • Excellent customer service skills and attitude.
  • Excellent organization, follow-up skills and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to meet the following physical requirements.
  • Frequently bends stoops and crouches.
  • Willing to travel at short notice.
  • Frequently moves up and down stairs, steps or ladders and must work at heights of more than six feet.
  • Willingness and ability to cope with physical, outdoor work.
