Job Description

Strategy development


  • Aligns RBU strategy with BU strategy
  • Drives RBU strategy, prepares input, distributes strategic targets, tracks implementation of BU strategy in region
  • Analyzes implications of EM scenarios on local product level

Requirement management


  • Provides local input for product requirements specification, product generation, platforms & variants planning and innovation management

Portfolio management


  • Aligns product portfolio with EM-BU/PRM over entire lifecycle
  • Responsible for PRM-processes on Domain level with customer centricity as success criteria

Market intelligence


  • Conducts all RBU market intelligence topics (market & competitors analysis, customer & products/pricing)
  • Checks content-related plausibility of RBU specific sales planning (VPZ)

Acq. Support & Pricing


  • Supports RBU quotation release and local sales in acquisition phase

Communication


  • Adapts communication concept to local needs in cooperation with MBL-RG; provides content of product specific local communication and supports local communication activities

Skills Required


  • Proficient knowledge of automotive technologies, electric powertrain and energy management in a BEV.
  • Advanced knowledge on automotive market, technology trends and developments (regional & global)
  • Advanced knowledge of business terms and conditions (e.g. RFI/Q, Pricing, Quotations, Contracts,), Financial and Legal Knowledge
  • Proficient in MS Office, Power BI, Salesforce
  • Advance analytical and presentation skills
  • Competent in Biz field Analysis, Biz Case evaluations, Scenario management
  • Competent in pre-selling, marketing, Go-to market techniques
  • Competent in Communication and interpersonal skill

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electronics / Electrical)
  • MBA in Biz development / marketing (desirable)
  • 8-12 years of professional experience
  • Min 5 years of Technical Sales / Marketing / Biz development experience in automotive industry
