MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Implement a marketing and sales strategy for one or more of the organization's more complex, controversial, or strategically significant products/services in order to meet established sales or market share targets.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Conductmarketresearch,overseeproductdevelopmentanddesign,setprices,launchnewproducts,overseeadvertisingcampaigns,andmonitorsalesperformancetoeffectivelymarketassignedproducts/services.
Monitor,analyze,andevaluatedomesticandinternationalmarkettrends,consumerbehaviorandcompetitoractivitytoidentifymarketopportunitiesfortheproduct/service.
Monitor,analyze,andevaluateproductperformanceandcustomerfeedbacktogeneratenewproductideas.
Identifyproduct/servicechangestomeetcustomerneeds.
Liaisewithotherareasoftheorganization(e.g.,production, R&D)toimplementthesechanges.
Preparesalesforecastsandbudgets.
Monitorsalesvolume,revenuesandcostsagainstforecasts.
Adaptplanstoimprovethesalesperformanceoftheproduct/service.
Liaisewithadvertisingandpromotionsspecialiststodesignsalescampaignsandsalescollateralfortheproduct/servicethatareeffectiveandappropriateforthetargetaudience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Associates Degree (± 13 years)
MastersDegree (± 18 years) (in Engineering)
Experience/Background
Minimum 4 years
