Officer Production 1

Objectives of the Position         

• To supervise and monitor planned production activities in shift in absentia of production executive.
• Assisting production executive / asset. Mgr. in planning and improving processes and product quality
• Maintaining good standards of safety and ensuring product quality, shop floor housekeeping and discipline in the shift.
• Need to support production in loading of the production batches and other production related activities like in process testing of the products.

Main Tasks

• Coordinate and monitor whole production process in shifts to achieve planned production volumes and quality with maximum utilization of resources.
• Whenever needed Working with other team members to complete the production processes including loading and packing activities.
• Ensure minimum interruptions in process by coordinating with support functions like maintenance, quality control, warehouse. Need to understand troubleshooting issues with production equipment and processes.
• Provide all relevant EHS information and trainings to workmen at beginning of shift work and as per schedule & follow all plant specific EHS requirements namely plant start up and shut down, work permit, discipline.
• Act as a ‘safety representative during shift work. Also support incident controller in handling emergencies in 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Implement 5 S and encourage workforce to propose innovative ideas to help increase productivity.

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

• Education: Science Graduate (Chemistry stream), Diploma or equivalent
• Working Experience: 2 - 3 years in paint / resin manufacturing.
• Technical & Professional Knowledge: Basic of coatings technology & manufacturing operations, Should be professional with a strong understanding of mechanical and chemical processes
