Operations is one of the largest divisions in the firm and has diverse responsibilities, including correctly settling and recording millions of transactions per day, identifying, and mitigating all operational risks, developing strong client relationships and partnering with technology to realize the full potential of IT and e-solutions. Throughout, the Operations department continually seeks ways to improve while actively supporting the development of new businesses, structures, and markets. Operations Transformation partners with Operations users, Technology and Business stakeholders to deliver strategic transformation initiatives. Growth in business volume and process complexity has led to increased manual processing and a need to coordinate tasks more efficiently across teams. As a result, Operations has initiated a multi-year journey to standardize and automate workflow at scale. The team supports the Governance and Control pillar which is focused on ensuring that the organization achieves our Transformation targets for 2024. Operations have set a division-wide target for capacity creation in 2024. The main focus of the role will be to operationalize the tool and process and facilitate the flow of opportunities along the solution lifecycle, specifically: - Collaborate with Global Operations and the Transformation tool product owners to review and assess opportunities for solutions - Engage with key points of contact within the Operations organization to provide transparency and visibility into progress of their teams vs targets - Partner with the Risk organization to ensure that the solutions appropriately consider impact to any risks to the process from implementing new solutions. As it is a new tool and process, a transformative mindset is critical to ensure that the process is efficient and effective in achieving the division-wide outcomes for capacity creation, risk and client service. This is a new requisition for a Vice President located in Mumbai in our established team to drive the Central Transformation strategy globally, but also focused on the APAC region. The VP will have responsibility for local and functional management of a combination of full-time employees and consultants.
