Role Description:
This role is part of Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis’ offices globally. The GEC brings key capabilities and capacity to support our clients seamlessly around the world. Working as an urban designer involves: - · Assisting on the preparation of urban design applications and advising on the planning aspects of schemes · Experience on master plan/Area Plan, Town Planning scheme · creating, adapting or reviewing plans for urban spaces · Experience in placemaking, street scaping, urban character development, rejubenation of Public spaces and other similer works. · Responsible for the development, revitalization or rebuilding of an area · Digitisation and support assignee on different projects · Ensure to summarize urban design objectives and goals from available previous plans as well as studies.
Role Accountabilities:
Confident in producing illustrative layouts · Experienced in the production of masterplan documents, design/development briefs, design codes and design and access statements · Skilled communicator · Confident in design report production and creatively combining graphics and text to communicate design ideas, proficient in Digital tool, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Grasshopper, Dynamo and experienced Adobe Suite user is preffered. · Willing to develop experience in assessment work (with associate training provided)
