As a PSI Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of analysts to optimize production, sales, and inventory strategies within the organization. You will oversee the analysis of data related to production planning, sales forecasting, and inventory management, and provide insights to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


Team Leadership:


  • Manage and provide guidance to a team of PSI analysts, setting clear goals and expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to support the growth and success of team members.

Sales Forecasting and Demand Planning:


  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to analyze sales data and develop accurate sales forecasts.
  • Utilize statistical modeling techniques and data analysis to identify trends and drivers of demand.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop demand plans and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand.

Inventory Management:


  • Analyze inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock-outs to optimize inventory management processes.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure efficient inventory replenishment and minimize excess stock.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance inventory accuracy and reduce carrying costs.

Reporting and Insights:


  • Oversee the development and maintenance of PSI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track relevant metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of PSI strategies.

Cross-functional Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain, to align PSI strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between teams to ensure coordination and alignment of goals.
  • Act as a key liaison between PSI analysts and other departments, addressing any data or analysis-related issues.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years / master's degree with 9+ years / Doctoral degree with 5+ years' experience in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in production planning, sales forecasting, inventory management, or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of analysts.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, statistical analysis software).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, sales forecasting, and inventory management principles.
  • Knowledge of demand planning methodologies and inventory optimization techniques.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and ability to identify and implement process enhancements.
