Job Description

Primary responsibilities for this role will include:


  • Actively support the Senior Director, CEMEA Risk Strategy & Operations (RSO) in activities & operations planning and strategy development.
  • Accurately and timely establish, track, and evaluate the execution of annual Regional Risk Objectives & Key Results.
  • Effectively lead, project manage and coordinate the planning, preparation, execution, and delivery of all strategic external and internal Risk events, including Risk Executive Council, Security Summit, Webinars, Townhalls, Visa University Risk Training courses, etc.
  • Lead the successful and timely execution of the Risk & Security Thought Leadership strategy in partnership with Corporate Communications, which includes the preparation and delivery of quarterly Client Risk Newsletters, preparation of Media Articles and other External Communications.
  • Manage internal content development process resulting into powerful, insightful, and engaging internal communication assets for executive and managerial use, including executive Risk reporting, internal newsletters, management dashboards to track CEMEA Risk performance.
  • Lead and own the timely creation and preparation of periodic and on-time delivery of executive-quality powerful presentations, engaging narrative, storyboards, presentation scripts, briefing materials, and correspondence for internal & external use to drive the desired outcomes.
  • Lead the coordination of the effective execution of Risk Operating Plans in close partnership with other internal partners, like Sub-regional, Hub and Global Risk Teams, Products, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Client Services, etc.
  • Ensure company’s Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform properly adopted and used by the regional Risk Organization in accordance with Global Risk Processes & Polices. Drive further development and enhancement to improve the operational excellence.
  • Constantly find opportunities for a broader utilization of the CRM platform in the regional Risk organization to improve operational excellence. Be accountable for driving the execution and implementation of found opportunities.

This role is based in Bangalore, India and works with the Senior Director, CEMEA RSO based in Dubai, UAE.


This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.



Qualifications

7+ years of proven work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Economics or Business Field) or 5+ years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
• Experience in technology or banking industry with exposure to projects and operations management.
• Advanced knowledge, skill and understanding in applying risk management practices specifically as it relates risk taxonomies, risk appetite, risk assessment, payments ecosystem risk trends.
• Outstanding program & project management, problem solving and presentation skills, ability to summarize raw data to tell a simple story supported by data to management and partners.
• Track record of using purposeful storytelling to drive organizational impact and business results.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate sophisticated issues in a clear, concise and impactful way – turning research and raw data into hard numbers into compelling stories and useful strategic insights to a variety of partners.
• Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships and work with all organizational levels.
• Must be proactive, high-energy, motivated great teammate capable of delivering on multiple initiatives on timelines and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools, Tableau and Power BI.
