Center of Excellence (COE) is an integral part of Product Development and Engineering Unit in Business Tech. Our mission is clear: to empower our organization and customers with exceptional digital experiences through cutting-edge engineering practices.
As part of the team in the Enterprise Application Area under COE, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our software development capabilities. You'll work collaboratively to optimize processes and ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and secure software solutions.
 


Roles and Responsibilities 


  1. As an Engineering Manager you are responsible for formal staff responsibility for a number of employees with functional and tech competence, e.g., technical engineer, software engineer, platform engineer, data analyst, distributed in one or cross several teams. 


  1.  Your primary focus will be ensuring that the product teams have the right competencies by strategically managing resources. This role requires a genuine interest in the development and growth of individuals, providing vision, security, and clarity on their journey.  


  1. You will navigate multiple stakeholders’ demands, handle pressure, and translate long-term goals into actionable strategies, leveraging your ability to zoom in and out of the big picture.  


  1. Manage a high-caliber team who are responsible for Analysis, plan, design, development/configuration, and implementing SAP FICO solutions to meet strategic, usability, performance, reliability, control, and security requirements to enable Finance business processes.  


  1. As an Engineering manager you are responsible to ensure your employees can deliver in an efficient way according to set goals – in a healthy work-life balance approach.

  1. Support and coordinate the efforts of Subject Matter Experts, Development, Quality Assurance, Usability, Training, Transport Management, and other internal resources for the successful implementation of system enhancements/fixes  


  1. Support daily Core SAP Finance operations and provide timely and consistent resolution of third-level Support activities. Perform SAP FI Configuration as required. 



Qualifications
  1. Minimum 12 years of experience in SAP FICO with implementation and migration to S/4 Hana projects.
  2. Experience in managing a high-caliber team, with strong interpersonal skills.
  3. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field (BE/BTech/MS/MCA Full-Time Education).
  4. Good working experience in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting (CPA), and Internal Orders.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with teams across different geographies.
  6. Familiarity with new features of S4 Hana.
  7. Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
