Overall Purpose of Job:


•            As a Planning Associate, you will be responsible for a portfolio with daily activities supporting our KPIs.


•            You will assist the SPS Planners, located in Montreal Canada, with managing a just in time procurement environment with; scheduling, planning and ordering aircraft engine parts within a SAP information system.


•            You will report to the Planning Associate Deputy Manager, located in PW Bangalore.


Responsibilities:


Operational Responsibilities


•            Ensure Supply Management tasks are being completed to Spares (SPS) expectations 


•            Material transfer from the production environment to our spare parts stores and vice versa; same from PW Components Solutions (PWCS) to Spare Parts (plant 17).


•            Review and modify safety stock


•            Support parts campaign management per Program


•            Potential parts planning on selective programs


•            Review and perform audits to SC processes involving Plant 17/18.


•            Support activities to clear ageing QM lots in Plant 17/18


•            Work with Planners on proactive measures for upcoming demand and shortages (i.e. Beyond Request process 4-6 weeks+)


•            Support Inventory initiatives across SPS and PWCS


•            Deliver to KPIs established for this team.


 Responsibilities


•            Role will occasionally be responsible for knowledge transfer of new functions as introduced by the Spares team


Change management projects with the team related to transformation initiatives.

Job Requirements:


•            4+ years business experience with a focus on Production / Manufacturing Planning


•            Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Industrial Management


•            Fluent in English, French a plus


•            Knowledge in materials planning, procurement and inventories management


•            MRP / SAP a must


•            Microsoft Office
