Senior Data Warehouse/ Business Intelligence - Assistant Manager

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our agile team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, with a focus on developing Azure-based applications, data warehouse and ETL backend systems. Proficiency in Data Warehousing and Business Objects is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Candidate must have minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Data Warehousing and Reporting using Business Objects.
• Candidate must have hands on experience in Snowflake and Azure
• Analyze, Design and Code BO Reports
• Create Database Views/materialized views, Indexes, Partitions.
• Experience in Shell scripting and Autosys/Control-M/Cron scheduling.
• Ability to communicate with Business users, understand and Analyze requirements and Use Cases.
• Experience working in Agile Teams.
• Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently as well as within a team.
• Strong knowledge DW concepts.

Primary Skills (Must Have)

• Strong experience in writing complex queries, performance tuning, query optimization and debugging.
• Good knowledge in DW concepts and experience in any ETL tool.
• Core understanding of Business Objects architecture, security framework and content management. Solid understanding and hands-on experience of Business Objects Applications (Universe Designer, IDT, WebI, Crystal Reports).
• Experience in Onshore-Offshore delivery model.
• Experience in Agile model.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

• Financial industry experience is preferred.
• Experience with MS Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodology is a plus.
• Knowledge in Core Java, Python is a plus.
