Senior IT Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (Onsite)

This role is onsite and requires you to work from the Bangalore office.  It is crucial to note that this is not a DevOps role; rather, it centres on systems engineering with a strong component of AWS expertise.

We are seeking a Senior IT Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer with substantial AWS experience to join our team. This role is focused on managing and enhancing our IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability.

You will be working on:

• Advanced AWS Management:
  Utilize your knowledge of AWS services and architecture to contribute to the maintenance and optimization of our cloud infrastructure.
  Implement and manage Service Control Policies (SCP) within AWS Organizations to ensure effective governance.
• System Security and Compliance:
  Apply Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools to monitor security risks and compliance with established policies.
  Develop and execute security remediation plans, including detailed assessments and resolution strategies.
• IT Systems Administration:
  Manage and optimize IT systems that support enterprise-level applications and infrastructure.
  Troubleshoot and resolve issues across systems and platforms including, but not limited to, OKTA, JAMF, JumpCloud, Netskope, and Crowdstrike.
• Infrastructure and Identity Management:
  Manage the integration of identity management solutions such as OKTA with AWS to enhance system security and user access management.
  Provide expert troubleshooting for identity management and system access issues.
• Operational Excellence and Automation:
  Leverage tools like Terraform for infrastructure management ensuring efficient operations.
  Utilize automation tools such as Workato or BetterCloud for creating and managing automated workflows.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  Communicate effectively with different teams and stakeholders to ensure system integrity and security.
  Collaborate with IT teams to align systems and processes, enhancing operational efficiency.

We are looking for:

• Experience in infrastructure as code and automation tools is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in system management and troubleshooting across various technologies (e.g., OKTA, JAMF, Crowdstrike).
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as an IT engineer, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience managing IT systems effectively.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with AWS cloud services
• Excellent problem-solving abilities along with strong communication and collaborative skills
