About the role:.

• Investigating issues reported by clients and identifying the root cause by analysing code and data, reading specifications, and confirming functionality is as per design.
• Provides in-depth product support to FIS clients by resolving incoming inquiries.
• Troubleshoots problems of software applications and recommends corrective action.

• Ambit Asset Finance is a configurable, end-to-end leasing and financing process management solution. It supports all asset-types and multinational operations, helping eliminate dependency on disparate legacy systems for increased operational efficiency and reduced total cost of ownership.
• The Ambit Asset Finance Support team is a global team of highly experienced consultants working collaboratively to support multi-national banks and asset leasing organisations many countries.

What you will be doing:

• Investigating issues reported by clients and identifying the root cause by analysing code and data, reading specifications, and confirming functionality is as per design.
• Provides in-depth product support to FIS clients by resolving incoming inquiries.
• Troubleshoots problems of software applications and recommends corrective action.
• Documents customer information and reoccurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development.
• Recreates client issues in test environment, Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes.
• Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring:

• C#/.Net development experience in a software development role within a commercial software environment.
• Someone who enjoys tackling challenges, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into client-friendly explanations.
• Results-oriented, flexible, and able to contribute and succeed within a friendly and collaborative environment, helping the wider team provide a thorough and successful result.
• Comfortable working within an existing code base and utilising existing collaborative tools.
• You are tenacious; rarely giving up until you have reached a logical and useful solutio

What you will need:

• Prior banking or finance related experiences a plus; personal banking experience preferred.
• Documents client information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development.
• Knowledge of FIS products and services.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge in programming, business analysis or implementation of software products.
• Organizational and time management skills required.
• Extremely comfortable working with computers and a variety of applications.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Since or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience in Accounting or Leasing would be highly beneficial.
• Previous programming experience will stand you to good stead when analysing complex financial issues. Note: This is not a developer role.
• English language skills required.
