Product/Sr.Product Specialist - Burners
 

Your responsibilities

1. Specifications for and mechanical design of Burner  equipment used in a cement plant including calculations and documentation
2. Support to proposal department, sales department, and Project Management regarding new design product
3. Release of deliverable meeting the defined quality norms while ensuring adherence to contractual / project specific requirements within the defined time frames
4. Defining requirements for new design projects together with the Global Specialist Team
5. Technical assistance to colleagues worldwide, suppliers and plant sites
6.  Work in close collaboration with the Global Specialist Team and Chief Engineer
7. Design and support state of the art cement plant equipment, prepare necessary documentation covering everything from risk assessments, drawings, specifications, instructions and design manuals.
8. Design, and make necessary strength calculations on equipment as well as on machinery parts.
9. Make technical drawings and 3D design work using SolidWorks
10. Apply design judgements using the knowledge of Fits, Tolerances, Finish, Manufacturing methods and work shop practices.
11. Prepare end user documentation which meets the quality standards of today
12. Assist documenting machinery within our product database and continues product improvement
13. Trouble shooting of issues at site related to the product    

What you bring

1. Proficient to work in Microsoft Office Tools.
2. Proficient to work in teams as well as independently.
3. Good in English at 'negotiation level' both written and orally.
4. Proficient in trouble shooting on site with a hands-on approach.
5. Expert in documentation which meets the quality standards.
6. Expert in technical drawings and 3D design work using SolidWorks
