Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins and functions as a Global Software Delivery Center exclusively catering to Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services.

Job Description

Title : IT Service Desk Agent


  • Eurofins is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate for the entry-level IT Service Desk Agent position. The primary responsibilities of this role will encompass a combination of phone, email, and interactive chat support for local and nationwide customers from our laboratories.
  • You will troubleshoot and resolve customer hardware, software, and general network connectivity issues. Additionally, you will gain exposure to various tools and have the opportunity to learn high-level skills by supporting networking, Active Directory, and security applications.
  • This position demands a high degree of emotional intelligence, empathy, technical prowess, and customer focus. You must be capable of breaking down technical concepts into non-technical language and effectively communicating them to individuals of all IT skill levels. The roles and responsibilities of this position vary on a day-to-day basis, necessitating an open-minded approach and the ability to adapt to change.

Qualifications: Hard skills:


  • A proficient command of written and spoken English and a basic understanding of ITIL concepts, including Incident, Major Incident, Problem Record, Knowledge Article, Asset Management, Change Request, and Service Portal, among others, are required.
  • You should be capable of proposing basic troubleshooting and repair solutions for Windows operating systems and local and cloud-based Microsoft products, including MS Office: O365, SCCM, Azure, Exchange, and Server 2008-2016. Basic knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN and remote access, Citrix, thin clients, VMWare or equivalent will be beneficial. You will also handle network connectivity, TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs, Ethernet, etc.

Experience:


  • Candidates with 6+ months of Help Desk/Service Desk support or one year of call center experience are encouraged to apply.

Soft skills:
