We are looking for a senior site reliability engineer to join our team and help us ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of our web applications and services. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying solutions that improve the scalability, efficiency, and resilience of our systems. You will also collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues and incidents.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain infrastructure and automation tools using cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and reporting systems using tools and frameworks such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.
Apply software engineering best practices and standards to develop and maintain code and scripts using languages such as Python, Go, Java, etc.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues and incidents using root cause analysis, debugging, and testing techniques.
Conduct performance testing and tuning to optimize the throughput, latency, and resource utilization of our systems.
Document and communicate site reliability engineering processes and solutions to stakeholders and users.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
6+ years in the industry and at least 3 years of relevant experience as a site reliability engineer or in a similar role.
Proficient in cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
Proficient in monitoring, logging, alerting, and reporting tools and frameworks such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK and Splunk etc.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, etc.
Experience with infrastructure and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Experience with software engineering tools and methodologies such as Git, CI/CD, Agile, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
