What you need to know about the role-
In this role you will be responsible for identifying and implementing seamless self-service experiences for customers to resolve their issues when contacting PayPal via Chat or IVR
Meet our team
We are part the customer success platform team, responsible for building tools and experiences for both our end customers and internal customers (customer cervice agents). We leverage latest technologies to build these solutions. We are one of the first companies to introduce Gen AI capabilities in our chatbot.

Your day to day


In your day to day role


  • You will work with our Product partners to identify opportunities for creating our improving our products.


  • You will be primarily working on a team that is responsible for creating self -service flows in chat and IVR


  • The tech stack you will be working on primarily is – Google Dialog Flow, Java, Sprint boot, REST, Microservices


  • You will work with our engineering partners across locations.


What do you need to bring-



• Demonstrate a customer centric mindset as part of day-day work.


• Ensure that the design and implementation adheres to defined specs and processes.


• Own end-to-end quality of deliverables during all phases of the software development lifecycle.


• Understand technical designs by working within PayPal’s cross-functional technology team.


• Collaborate with core platform and infrastructure teams


• Collaborate between business, product and technology in the process of understanding the requirement and coming up with implementation options


• Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment and manage continuously changing business needs
• Strong frontend and backend programming skills and previous experience as a full stack engineer.


• Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.


• Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React.


• Experience with REST API’s, Web Services, Unit Testing and build tools.


• Proficient in back-end languages including Java, Python.


• Good understanding and hands on experience with databases such as MySQL/ Oracle etc.


• Rich object-oriented design and analysis skills.


• Excellent verbal communication skills.


• Good problem-solving skills. Attention to detail.
