Your Role
HMI SW Engineerrole sits within Aptiv’s new product organization, which will be at the forefront of transforming the auto industry with cutting-edge technology. In your daily job you will:
Analyze internal & external & Architecture requirements to come up with a software requirement and strategy to achieve project goals.
Create and document software design meeting requirements using UML
Write robust and reusable software code implementing realtime vision features
Use C, C++, and Python languages to develop Realtime vision application and interface adapter for HMI on a variety of target platforms including PCs and embedded SoCs.
Develop Android application to provide interface to display image/Videos from realtime vision applications based on the requirement.
Define unit tests and software test strategy.
Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with industryquality standards.
Your Background
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience writing software using C, C++ and/or Android application.
3+ years of experience working in an Agile development team
OpenCV development experience, Graphic Algorithm development experience.
Android application development experience required.
Knowledge/Experience on kotlin for Android, QT, infotainment HMI development is an added advantage.
Familiarity with software development processes (CI/CD, Automotive SPICE) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, GIT, etc.)
Experience with Linux or QNX: configuration, command line usage, shell scripting, etc.
Familiarity with software modeling in UML using tools such as Enterprise Architect
