Software Test Automation Engineer

We’re looking for a Software Test Automation Engineer to join our LED ElectronicsR&D team in Bangalore.You will be working alongside with other engineers on certification of DALI interface of LED drivers and lighting control devices

As the Software Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of automated tests for DALI certification.. Through test automation you aim to optimize testing by increasing efficiency, speed, and accuracy, improving test coverage, and enhancing software quality.

• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans and procedures for various products developed based on lighting industry standard DALI Protocol
• Perform testing and validation of hardware products using a variety of test equipment and tools
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and provide solutions for improvements
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and product quality
• Contribute to the development of C# programming concepts to support test automation

Your qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with 5 years of relevant work experience in Verification & Validation of an integrated product/system, physical layer testing and knowledge in understanding hardware design; any Protocol testing will be advantage
• Experience in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers and data sniffing tools; good understanding of any physical layer protocol
• Experience with C# and Python
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions for issues found
• Excellent communication and teamwork
