As an Application Sr. Analyst, Demand planning, in the Kalypso Oracle Practice based in Pune, India, you will work on a globally based team supporting Oracle Cloud projects for clients primarily in the US and EMEA. You will work with global clients, helping them apply leading practice integration solutions to their Oracle Cloud implementations. Our focus is on helping clients extract business value from the Oracle Cloud Supply Chain solutions, not just on making the technology work. In this hands-on role, you will help deliver Oracle Cloud solutions for a diverse set of clients in industries such as Manufacturing, Life Sciences, High Tech, Consumer Goods, and Retail. You will also help grow the practice by mentoring and leading junior members on the team and guiding them on leading practices in the implementation of Oracle Cloud Solutions.


Key Responsibilities & Activities:


  • Work on New implementation, Upgrade and Managed Services projects for Oracle Cloud SCM / VCP modules for global clients
  • Perform Business Requirements Gathering, Translating Requirements into Functional Scripts (Design Documents/ Setup Documents etc.)
  • Develop Functional Test Scripts, Test Business Scenarios on Application (Including Setups)
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge for applications including activities around data mapping, conversion validation, system and security configurations, user acceptance testing, and system integration testing
  • Propose Application based solutions to business pain points and process improvement
  • Ensure on-time application delivery
  • Help Sales/Pre-Sales in developing POCs for prospect clients
  • Lead internal and external client facing projects as needed
  • Ensure meeting production SLA`s and KPIs while working on Support / MS projects
  • Respond quickly and effectively to resolve customer support tickets and issues
  • Support end-user application queries, daily plan runs/collections etc.
  • Develop, implement, measure, and improve managed service processes and tools. Focus on scalable, proactive, and responsive methods
  • Manage working hours while working with US teams and customers. This may require working late night outside regular India business hours (e.g. provide cover till 12pm PST time zone)
  • Assist in developing training materials and conduct internal as well as client trainings as needed
  • Support other associates/colleagues in their learning and mentoring. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to team members as well as end-users
  • Learn other applications as required
  • Communicate effectively internally and externally
  • Produce high quality deliverables and represent AVATA in an honourable, professional manner
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS (include Education, Skills & Experience):

EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 Years

SKILLS:


  • Well versed with Oracle Supply Chain Planning applications – Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Sales & Operations Planning etc.
  • Strong experience in Oracle Demantra modules - RTSOP, PTP, TPM etc.
  • Good understanding of Oracle Cloud SCP modules -
    • Demand Management (DM)
    • Planning Central (PC)
  • Having done minimum 3-4 Oracle Cloud Planning implementation projects (preferably on DM Cloud)
  • Hands-on with FDBI / ADFdi data load process - ability to help technical team in resolving data errors
  • Ability to learn Oracle Cloud Modules quickly (e.g. get ready with hands-on configuration capability in few weeks’ time)
  • Good understanding of ERP modules and processes will be a plus
  • Experience in leading Oracle Cloud implementation projects
  • Ability to lead offshore development work for implementation projects
  • Good understanding of Cloud paradigms and models such as IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
  • Hands-on experience with BI Publisher reports will be a plus
  • Experience working on large projects in multi-team environment will be a plus
  • Good SQL, PL/SQL knowledge
  • Strong communication and client interfacing skills
  • Knowledge about working on Oracle SRs (service requests), Tickets etc.
  • B.E. / B.Tech. / MBA / MCA from reputed India College (or University) with first division (more than 65% or 6.5 CGPA)
