Sr Marketing Specialist - Business Analyst, Marketing Strategy and Planning

The Team
The Marketing organization at Extreme Networks is the growth engine for the entire company.  It is not only the demand generation propeller and brand builder but also the change agent and transformation driver.   Partnering in lockstep with product and sales, marketing is at the forefront of formulating go-to-market strategy, new business models and cultivating differentiated customer experiences. 
The Marketing Business Strategy team is a newly created function, whose charter includes strategy and planning, market intelligence and competitive intelligence, and marketing operations and analytics.  The team’s mission is to leverage strategic and competitive analyses to inform GTM and marketing investment strategy, in service to the company’s growth outcome. 
The Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst, Marketing Strategy and Planning to join the growing marketing business strategy team.  Reporting to senior director, of marketing business strategy, the role will have a significant amount of exposure to the most visible and highest impact projects and will have the opportunity to work closely with senior marketing leadership team. 
Responsibilities of the Role:
1.Support segmentation and targeting analysis to inform GTM strategy and propensity to buy priority
2.Collaborate with demand generation team to support annual marketing pipeline target setting and budget planning, perform analysis on Extreme metrics vs. industry benchmark on conversion rates, product attach rates, and demand vs. brand spend ratios.  
3.Partner with the finance and demand generation team to analyze campaign spend by solution and customer segmentation, customer acquisition cost, and campaign ROI.
4.Prepare presentations and narratives to support executive meetings, including QBRs, annual budget planning, and executive strategy offsite.
Qualifications and skills:
·Over 3 years of experience in management consulting, business analysis, marketing analytics, sales operations, and/or finance management.
·Strong quantitative and modeling skills 
·Solid grasp of demand generation and pipeline planning fundamentals
·Have strong project management skills and superb attention to detail, as well as multi-tasking skills in a dynamic environment
·Strong team player, as well as strong written and oral communication skills 
·Domain knowledge of networking and cloud SaaS is a plus
·MBA is a plus 
·Proficiency with Salesforce and Marketo is a plus
