Position: Supervisor - Quality Assurance

Location: Vapi, Gujarat
Company Preference – Preferably from an agency/ liaison office / Buying House
Product Category - Hardgoods (Home decor, Household, Candles, Kitchenware- Serve ware, Cookware, Cutlery)
Skills: You will support leadership for the Quality Assurance functions for the assigned Hard goods in the homes category to meet the brand requirement, you will manage Vendor relationships to deliver Profitability, On-time Execution, and quality.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the operations of the station office (if assigned).
- Fully understand and conduct inspections independently / as a member of the inspection team as per the SOP / Field instructions.
- Effective communication with office staff and factory representatives.
- Prepare inspection reports that are complete, comprehensive, and presented in a manner consistent with Client / BV guidelines.
- Participate in all the training courses as and when scheduled.
- Fully understand and comply with the requirements of hard line such as controlling and filing of all relevant documents, draft and final audit reports.
- Clarify all inspection-related queries with the Supervisor and Manager.
- Ensure confidentiality of information obtained during employment in BV.
- Ensure that the equipment / other infrastructure provided by the company is not mishandled/damaged.
- Support the Supervisor / Manager / for any other job as assigned.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A university degree and above or diploma in the field of Mechanical /Textile / Manufacturing / Quality management / Engineering or related disciplines.
- Good command of English and local language, both oral and written.
- Good knowledge of computers.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Attention to detail and process improvement skills.
- Must be confident, highly efficient, and self-motivated.
- High level of integrity.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
