Job Description
Responsible for planning, scheduling, inspecting and supervising maintenance activities of the factories and plants and ensure all requests are handled efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities Maintenance Activities
• Plan, schedule & supervise all maintenance activities for the company factories and plants.
• Assist on maintenance tasks of projects and inspect projects to ensure proper repair, mechanical and electrical equipment’s services improvement, and preventive maintenance are in compliance with the requirements of the companies' policies and standards.
• Coordinate with the Planning Department to schedule maintenance plans for all machines and equipment at the factory in a way that does not interfere with the production schedules and deadlines.
• Monitor and analyze each machine’s utilization, enforce safety practices on machines operations, and make sure that employees undergo machines safety training.
• Supervise all critical mechanical and electrical equipment, create and implement preventative maintenance strategies as well as equipment life cycle replacement plans.
• Monitor the proper purchasing process of any equipment / spare parts that may be needed to ensure the adequate continuation of work while adhering to the policies of the Purchasing & Stores Division.
• Provide coaching and / or analyze, fix, repair, and restore electrical and mechanical equipment / systems to full operation and recommend revisions / replacements / upgrades when necessary for effectiveness or in cases of obsolescence.
• Supervise, review and evaluate the work of staff performing electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair work.
• Maintain a record of all complaints received from the factories and plants regarding maintenance and implement appropriate actions to resolve the same.
• Coordinate with the Stores Department in providing spare parts and other material needed to perform the maintenance duties after obtaining the required approvals.
• Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
Requirements• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field .
