    Job Description

    1. JOB PURPOSE
    To be responsible for the smooth operation of the F& B department on a shift and to assist the F&B manager in all aspects of the operation of the F&B department.

    2. NATURE & SCOPE
    The job holder be one of the management team of the F& B department and will take responsibility for particulars aspects of the department as well as for specific shifts .They will assist the F&B Manager /Theatre Manager in all aspects of both the F&B and operations department’s work .They may also be required to undertake the role of duty manager for the cinemas

    3. DIMENSIONS
    Direct contact with customers, working as part of the whole Reel Cinema team interaction with all team members, supervision of Executives and CSR‘s .Liaison with finance, administration, procurement and suppliers

    4. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
    1. Assist the F& B Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of all aspects of F&B
    2. Take specific responsibility ,as required for areas and tasks within the F&B department
    3. Responsible for security of cash ,ticket stub, stocks and equipment in Reel Cinemas
    4. Perform duties and supervise staff and executives in Box Office ,Concessions , retail ,coffee shop ,lounges and ushering
    5. Ensure uniform standard ,operational practices ,company policies ,hygiene and quality standards are adhered to
    6. Plan weekly rosters
    7. Responsible for efficient staffing and training of all staff
    8. Be responsible for all aspects of control of stocks including stocktaking as required
    9. Assist in preparing ,ordering and receiving F&B stock
    10. Deputise as required for the F&B Manager and /or Duty manager
    11. Handle day to day accounting and end of shift financial matters.
    12. Assist in planning all marketing and promotions activities
    13. Assist in ensuring all procedures are followed and be responsible as directed in updating quality procedures
    14. Be fully aware of and assist in all emergency and health and safety procedures.
    15. Supervise and assist as required in ensuring all presentation, hygiene ,food safety and cleanliness standards are achieved
    16. Report relevant events for the information of the F&B / Theatre Manager
    17. Conduct preventative maintenance programme for F&B equipment
    18. Assist in sourcing and testing new menus and products
    19. Any other duties as required by the F&B /Theatre Manager
