About the role


Our Lifeguard is responsible for providing members and guests the highest level of safety with excellent guarding of the pool and enforcement of pool rules and regulations. Candidate must also share a passion for providing the highest quality of service to our members and guests.


What you will do


  • Greet guests/members at entrance and properly register all hotel guests and guests of members. Offer towel and escort to lounge chair. Ensure safety of the pool by monitoring pool as trained thru Four Seasons.
  • Ability to offer first aide or CPR as necessary.
  • To handle all member/guest's interaction with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with club or hotel services.
  • Properly book all necessary reservations that pertain to necessary pool services or activities i.e. swim lessons, pool games, swim meets.
  • Appropriately utilize logbook, e-mails, voice mails, and glitch system as vehicles of communication to ensure members/guests satisfaction with all services provided at the pool.
  • To ensure compliance of daily and opening/closing checklists by walking and ensuring all areas of the pool are well maintained and presentable.
  • To ensure safety procedures are followed and able to notify security of any accidents or injury.
  • To enforce family pool rules.
  • To handle, store and utilize all chemicals properly and safely.
  • To handle other tasks or projects deemed necessary by hotel management and staff.
  • To provide a proper and safe operation and care for all health club equipment including swimming pool, whirlpool, gym equipment, free weights, and handicapped lift.
  • To conduct all opening procedures including pool keys, unlocking all cabinets, setting up amenities, and phones.
  • To provide information and assistance to the hotel guests as requested.
  • To wipe down, set up and move, when necessary, all pool deck equipment.
  • To work closely with the Engineering department to administer preventive maintenance procedures and to limit equipment down time by ensuring proper use and care.  The ability to report equipment malfunctions promptly and accurately.
  • To pick up, stock, restock, and drop off towels, juices, fruits, and other items or amenities needed in the area to provide guests with a level of service in keeping with a Four Seasons.
  • To handle lost and found items.
  • To monitor all pool and Jacuzzi activity watching for the welfare and safety of all in the pool area.  The ability to enforce health club rules and regulations with guests.
  • To clean the pool, Jacuzzi, deck and tiles.
  • To secure all amenities, cabinets, chairs and cushions at the end of the day.
  • To perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Spa manager.

What you bring


Lifeguard certification required.


1-2 years previous lifeguard experience.


Very Good communication skills and command of English language
