Job Description

JOB OBJECTIVE


Provide Line maintenance services on Thales IFE system installedon Customer Aircraft at their home base


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Responsible for maintenance and services of IFEC system on-board customer aircraft in accordance with GMM, applicable regulations, customer’s requirements, Company’s policy and procedures and local line maintenance station’s requirements (where applicable).
  • Ensure that you are qualified to perform task assigned IAW with the GMM.
  • Use the appropriate and applicable technical Data when performing any IFEC work.
  • Document work accomplished IAW customer’s requirements, GMM and line maintenance station’s procedures.
  • Use the appropriate GSE equipment for task assigned.
  • Performs data and administrative entries using the current ATS Maintenance Tracking and documentation system.
  • Follow and comply with GMM Part 6 requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of facility, tools, vehicles and equipment.
  • Use safety net when performing task assigned.
  • Follow calibration rules when using calibrated tool.
  • Report unsafe act and prevent unsafe behavior.
  • Inspect work after completion and ensure article worked on is returned to its original condition.
  • Inspect work area and its surroundings to ensure no tool/item left behind.
  • Assist other LMTs when required.
  • Ensuring full compliance with all required applicable ATS line station manuals.
  • Perform other duties as requested by immediate supervisor.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


minimum  of 2 years’ experience in Line/ Base  Aircraft maintenance 


QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS


  • EASA B1 or B2 (preferred ) license
  • Bachelor in Engineering or information technology is a plus

PREFERRED SKILLS


  • Excellent communication skills in English ( reading , writing and verbal)
  • Excellent  Digital  Skills , MS office and other software’s used in the station 
  • Social and able to work within a team
  • Must be able to adjust to flexible working hours and overtime if necessary
  • Able to work in shifts
  • Able to adapt in diverse multinational work environment

HSE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Comply with local HSE laws and legislation.
  • To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended.
