s Internal Communication Leader you lead and create effective communication securing the communication process by defining, planning, executing and following up communication to relevant stakeholders. Drive an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values where our co-workers are informed, engaged and empowered. 

Key assignments:

• Design , lead, and develop internal communication as a strategic tool for leading businesses and people in line with IKEA – Al Homaizi Limited communication strategy and global communications strategy. 
• Define, plan, execute, and measure strategic and effective communications based on the needs of business and people. 
• Be a strategic and tactical partner to define and enable communication needs and goals. 
• Lead the development and implementation of the internal communication plan, lead the communication calendar, and manage the internal communication structure and flow. 
• Create clear and actionable communication plans and communication briefs to enable efficient and effective creation, production, and follow-up. Set and agree on briefs with stakeholders that indicate the “what”, “why” and “when” to deliver business impact. Work with internal and/or external resources to deliver to the defined communication briefs within budgets and timelines, and create work orders when needed 
• Contribute to the implementation of business strategies, priorities, and processes through communication. 
• Be the visual, verbal, and written communication expert in the unit, and responsible for creating visual, verbal, and written communication within the unit/area/function. 
• Set internal communication landscape basics in place within a defined timeline. Implement IKEA internal communication channels such as Intranet, Co-worker portal, social forums, etc. 
• Facilitate dialogue, encourage involvement, and contribute to an open and sharing climate. 
• Work in close collaboration with relevant teams to create a strong employer branding agenda. 
• Work in close collaboration with external PR and marketing to define messaging and communication needs for co-workers. 
• Day-to-day responsibility for the sourcing, editing, and producing of content for the identified internal media – Intranet, Weekly News, Info boards, video communications systems 
• Provide expert advice and support for Managers in preparation of materials for co-workers' communication 
• Develop and support an internal communication toolkit 
• Support in crises in regards to internal communication 

• Graduate with at least 4 years of relevant experience  
• Experience in creating and implementing fact-based strategic plans, setting budgets, and following up on goals  
• Proven ability to work with creative advertising/communication processes/agencies 
• Experience in effective and efficient use and measurement of all media (paid, owned, and earned)  
• Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English 
• Proven ability to make a difference in positively influencing the business result 
• Strong identification with the IKEA culture and values  
• High interest in home furnishings, people´s life at home, and the IKEA range 
• A genuine interest in Retailing and a curiosity and passion about Retail  
• Ability to develop, articulate, and communicate an IKEA strategy. 
• Has business overview, analytical skills and ,tactical thinking.
