Job Description

  • Collaborating closely with engineers and other team members, you will play a key role in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues, providing valuable insights for the development and refinement of designs.
  • In the role of Mechanical Engineering Technician, you'll be instrumental in supporting engineers with the development and improvement of mechanical systems and products. This encompasses conducting feasibility studies, analyzing design specifications, and providing valuable input on material selection.
  • Additionally, your responsibilities will extend to aiding in the documentation and reporting of project progress, maintaining meticulous records, and adhering unwaveringly to established engineering standards and procedures, all contributing to the successful execution of mechanical engineering projects.
  • You'll have hands-on duties that encompass assembling, testing, and maintaining mechanical prototypes and equipment, all with the aim of ensuring they meet quality standards and performance criteria.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical system issues will be a central aspect of your role, requiring the use of diverse tools and equipment to identify and implement solutions, with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Skills

  • Proficient in utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed mechanical drawings and schematics, facilitating the design and modification of mechanical systems and components.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, facilitating collaboration with engineers and peers to bolster the design, development, and integration of mechanical systems, along with the documentation of procedures and outcomes.
  • Skilled in performing accurate measurements and inspections with an array of tools and instruments, exhibiting a keen eye for detail to maintain product quality and meet specifications.
  • Competent in executing precise measurements and inspections utilizing a diverse set of tools and instruments, with a strong focus on detail to uphold product quality and adhere to specifications.
  • Proficiency in hands-on responsibilities like assembling, testing, and maintaining mechanical equipment, upholding operational efficiency and dependability in a range of industrial scenarios.
