Plan and conduct assigned audits and inspections IAW required quality management standards, specifications and contractual requirements. Assist in the execution of the Quality Control Plan to ensure compliance to the ISO 9001:2008 standard. Identify and report non-conformances, and assist with corrective and preventive actions. Develop and document procedures and work instructions to support program processes. Position reports to the Quality Manager.


Important Note: You must satisfy all host country requirements to legally work in the host country in order to be qualified for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and audits to evaluate contract performance for the entire Program.
  • Develop audit checklists, evaluate inspection or audit data and prepare quality reports.
  • Issue corrective actions and work with process owners on corrective action teams.
  • Verify conformance to corrective and preventive action measures.
  • Communicate with and facilitate meetings with internal and external customers as directed.
  • Maintain and evaluate quality data base programs.
  • Read and interpret customer requirements and develop quality documentation based on those requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • Associates degree in IT, Engineering or related field is desired.
    • Internal Auditor training certification is required; certification by an accredited body (IRCA, RABQSA, ASQ) is preferred.
  • Experience
    • At least 3 years' of experience in a quality system auditing or inspecting role, preferably in a military environment.
    • Working knowledge of information technology, ISO 9001:2008 and quality management principles are a must for this position.
    • Must have the ability to work independently without constant supervision. Must be proficient with Microsoft computer software applications (Word and Excel), and possess good verbal and written communication skills on both technical and non-technical quality matters.
  • Working Environment
    • Working environment will be 90% indoor and 10% outdoor. Individual should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted; specifically TA-50 gear required during military air travel. The outside work environment will be very hot due to conditions within the region. Personnel may also be required to stand for long periods of time. Up to 50% travel time required to OMDAC-SWACA sites.
    • Sitting in an office environment typing and reading of standards, specifications and contractual documentation. Walking to and from work site and housing at remote locations. Standing for long periods of time conducting audits. Traveling via military air requires carrying TA-50 gear, as well as personal luggage unassisted.
