TITLE: OXFORD REGIONAL DIRECTOR


REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS


Primary Purpose:


This position has the primary responsibility of strategically leading the successful delivery of academic skills instruction at the Oxford Learning center within a designated region. The Regional Director assumes a pivotal leadership role, being directly accountable for the strategic management and execution of educational initiatives integral to the overall success and efficiency of Oxford Learning Centers within the region.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement a forward-thinking academic strategy for the region, aligning it seamlessly with Oxford Learning's overarching goals and objectives.
  • Strategically articulate the distinctive features of the Oxford Learning Program to school personnel, with the aim of expanding and enriching the client base.
  • Strategically evaluate and provide comprehensive insights into overall student academic performance data and requirements through standardized testing methodologies, ensuring informed strategic decision-making at a leadership level.
  • Monitor student academic plans at Oxford Learning Centers on regular basis, demonstrating a leadership approach to ensure alignment with broader educational objectives and sustained program effectiveness.
  • Effectively implement and communicate center policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders, to guarantee the seamless and efficient operation of the center.
  • Collaborate strategically with school personnels within the region, including counsellors and administration, to drive and optimize progress of all the students enrolled. This also involves implementing targeted marketing initiatives towards schools, conducting impactful visits, and maintaining regular, proactive communication with the school administration.
  • Consistently evaluate the performance of the staff within the region and conduct monthly meetings to offer strategic feedback aimed at enhancing their effectiveness and, crucially, improving student outcomes.
  • Work closely with the other Education Team Members to develop, organize and conduct academic workshops appropriate to the region and staff’s needs.
  • Review overall student progress reports of the center and conduct regular meetings with tutors and coordinators to plan continued enrollment.
  • Oversee the maintenance of comprehensive, up-to-date, and accurate records in the Oxford Learning student database within the region, as well as overseeing the organization of center resources and student records.
  • Participate in Education and Career Development Team meetings and events.
  • Interview and train potential tutors for the Center.
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of the functions of the support staff to ensure proper running of the center and plan human resources needs within the region.

Qualifications:


  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
  • Understand and support Oxford Learning’s Vision, Mission and Values Statement.
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university. Substantial leadership experience in an educational setting is required.
  • Experience working with ESL youth and families preferred
  • Experence working in a multicultural setting and sensitivity to multicultural issues
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic initiatives that drive academic excellence and organizational growth.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Visionary thinking and the ability to provide strategic direction while adapting to dynamic educational landscapes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to learn and adapt to new software and technology.

Education and/or Experience:


  • Master’s degree from a reputed college or university; and five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with working/interfacing with multiethnic individuals; working in fast-paced environment and the ability to handle pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, and strong organizational skills
