As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will ensure that Toter’s network and IT infrastructure are free from security holes. This role will use technical skills for the design and implementation of various CICD patterns while abiding by industry standards and policies. You will often take part in design and code reviews and offer direction to ensure project scoping activities match architectural goals and specifications.
Description
A DevSecOps Engineer is a key role in toter’s infrastructure team that collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, offering strategic insights to enhance security measures across the entire software development lifecycle. in this role you will:
Conduct security assessments and perform vulnerability testing on software and infrastructure Implement and maintain security tools for continuous monitoring and threat detection Identify security needs for build automation, and taking a security first approach to designing, and implementing CI/CD solutions Actively participate in bridge calls with team members and contractors/vendors to prevent or quickly address problems Troubleshoot, identify, and fix problems in the DevSecOps domain Identify management concerns and problems, assess them, and offer prompt solutions and/or escalation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate security risks. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey security concepts and requirements to non-security personnel. Ability to collaborate with development, and operations teams to integrate security seamlessly into the development lifecycle. Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). 4+ years of experience in software development. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go. Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. Experience in profiling and monitoring existing code using tools such as NewRelic, DataDog, Blackfire etc. Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git. Fluency in English and Arabic. French is a plus.

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (Required ) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (Required )
Nice to have
Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) (Plus ) Previous experience with food delivery applications.
