Microsoft SQL Server Customer Engineer – Lebanon (Remote)
This position requires fluency in French, both verbally and in writing. Position Overview:
Microsoft SQL Server Customer Engineers are responsible for providing technical expertise and support to customers using Microsoft SQL Server technologies. As trusted advisors, they collaborate closely with customers to understand their business needs, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide solutions that maximize the value of SQL Server products and services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements, business objectives, and challenges related to Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
• Provide expert guidance and best practices on SQL Server architecture, design, implementation, and optimization.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to SQL Server databases, performance, security, and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Engineering, and Support, to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to educate customers on SQL Server capabilities and drive adoption of new features and functionalities.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and Microsoft product updates to provide informed recommendations and guidance to customers.
• Maintain/extend accreditations and certifications, assist in developing best practices for key technologies and products to support technical team readiness.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in database administration, development, or consulting, with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
• Strong technical expertise in SQL Server architecture, installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in SQL programming, database design, and optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate with customers and internal teams.
