AFR Customer & Ops Specialist

 DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for an AFR Customer & Ops Specialist in Morocco. You will help to plan and execute import/export shipments and to ensure that its operations run efficiently through application of ocean freight process. efficiently manage operational exchange with sales team for achievement of desired customer satisfaction. Manage team’s ops efficiently and exchange with Sales team for achievement of desired customer satisfaction. To manage team initiatives.

In this AFR Customer & Ops Specialist  position :


  • You will manage effectively direct reports, proactively giving feedback for a better performance – proactively engaged in escalations.
  • You will receive booking & confirm Pick up instruction with customer,
  • Send local SOP to all new customers for their easy guide.
  • You will send pre-alert (pre-arrival notice) to customer.
  • Politely and proactively, you will have to update customer with status of shipment, keep both overseas and customers informed about any delay or unusual situation occurred for their shipments at the first priority.
  • You will make sure that all the shipping instruction clearly registered on the checklist/tracker for operation and documentation’s guideline.
  • You will also ensure that the team is sending pre-alert to related party strictly according to the SOP.
  • You will have to make sure the team is tracking shipment till POD.
  • You will keep your direct manager informed on any unusual situation and trouble case occurred for daily operation.
  • You will act as back up for either direct manager or operation during their absence and annual leave.
  • You will provide report/s of customer’s data and information under the instructions of the individual salesperson.
  • You will give timely feedback to individual salesperson once any shipment discrepancy including non-payment issues has been detected.
  • You will make sure team register all OI and CCM Abd analyze discrepancy and work on corrective action.
  • You will make sure team, collect, and verify all commercial and shipping documents from customer.

Now, here’s what we need from you.


  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics
  • Excellent cooperation and teamwork capacity
  • Experience in a similar area at least 5 years
  • Focuses on identifying and meeting customer needs.
  • Acts to establish a successful long-term business partnership with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent communicator in English and French, both written and verbal.
