EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-time
REPORTS TO : Regional Sales Manager
JOB SUMMARY: As a Technical Sales Manager based in Morocco , with a primary focus on high-impact countries including Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Nigeria, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales of Portwest products within the specified regions. Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, you will leverage your expertise in footwear, gloves, or FR to engage with end-users and expand Portwest's market presence in the designated territories.
OVERVIEW OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES . Portwest is one of the fastest growing workwear companies in the world currently employing over 5,300 staff worldwide, with customer service staff in over 130+ countries and 11 Global warehouses in UK, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain, UAE, USA and Australia. We design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities.
Develop quality business relationships with both new and existing accounts across the designated regions. Conduct face-to-face sales meetings to maintain and develop relationships with end-users. Identify existing customers with significant growth potential and devise strategic plans for further development. Proactively seek out new business opportunities and create a comprehensive sales planning schedule. Engage in consultative selling by thoroughly understanding customers’ needs and offering tailored Portwest solutions. Prepare clear and compelling written proposals and quotations for prospective and current customers. Showcase new Portwest products during meetings by providing samples to clients. Ensure timely and efficient follow-up after meetings to secure sales closures.
REQUIREMENTS
5 years of experience in selling FR, Gloves or Safety Shoes. Experience in sales, preferably representing a distributor. Background in technical sales is essential. Possession of a clean driving licence and willingness to travel within the designated region. Experience in importing is essential.
