The project:

PMO implementation for A mixed use development in Oman, comprising 19 of neighbourhoods over 1,480 hectares of undeveloped land in a suburb of greater Muscat. It will comprise of mainly residential, retail areas and large areas of public realm.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Good working knowledge of EVM and project controls methodologies.

  
  

• Advising on complex requirements and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively.

  
  

• Managing projects controls delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programmes.

  
  

• Playing a key role in multidisciplinary teams and take lead role in creating plans or analysing trends using numerical and statistical techniques.

  
  

• Providing effective and timely advice to clients through providing basic commentary and analysis.

  
  

• Focusing on attention to details and checking project controls inputs, recording and reports produced. 

  
  

• Applying a structured methodology to track and report change across a major master-planned programme.

  
  

• Developing and supporting the roll-out of the change management process and procedures across all stages of delivery through the supply chain.

  
  

• Supporting the client and PMC project control teams in managing the change control process against the scope, cost, and schedule baselines.

  
  

• Advising the PMO and client leadership team as to the status of change, the blockers, and action holders.

  
  

• Developing and establishing the client change management system processes and procedures, guidance, and templates.

  
  

• Coordinating changes within the PMO, to ensure that scope, cost, schedule, and controls are reporting consistently. 

  
  

You’ll need to have:

• Extensive experience in Document Control Processes including ProjectWise, specifically admin and super user experience of the system.

  
  

• Knowledge of contractual frameworks relating to construction.

  
  

• Knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law and contractual frameworks relating to construction.

  
  

You’ll also have:

• Management experience within large, diverse teams.  

  
  

• Experience in managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.  

  
  

• Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
