The project:
A mixed-use development in Oman, comprising 19 of neighbourhoods over 1,480 hectares of undeveloped land in a suburb of greater Muscat. It will comprise of mainly residential, retail areas and large areas of public realm.

You’ll be responsible for:
Understanding of the measurement of quantities using both traditional and digital methods.
Understanding of cost estimating.
Ability to create schedules and track deliverables (e.g. change management, payment, bonds/warranties/insurances etc.).
Assist with value engineering studies.
Assist with the preparation of the documentation for tendering.
Assist with the analysis of tender returns and preparation of tender report.
Assist with the valuation of contractor’s monthly applications including measured works, preliminaries, materials on site etc.
Assist with the assessment and evaluation of variations, including the preparation of full substantiating documentation.
Assist with monthly cost reports.
Assist with project cashflow reporting.
Assist with agreeing the final account, providing input as required.
You’ll need to have:
Accurate and focused on detail.
Treats team members fairly and able to work effectively with others.
Has effective communication skills – strong in oral and written English is essential.
Acts with the highest standards of integrity.
Ability to work as part of a team and to work to own initiative.
You’ll also have:
A degree in quantity surveying/cost management or equivalent.
Working towards MRICS/RICS preferred.
