Executive Chef – Luxury Resort – Oman
Salary Package: $5500-6500 plus expat benefits
- As Executive Chef, you will lead and direct the full pre-opening culinary operations.
- Ensure that each chef is running his kitchen at a food cost as outlined in the annual operation’s budget.
- Monitor sorting of food and material waste and liaise with the gardeners for efficient food wastage removal for composting and growing our own produce and featuring this produce in our culinary offering.
- Constantly assess Menus and Wine Lists to remain relevant and in line with the resort’s practices.
- Manage food and labour costs.
- Is creative, modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards.
- Recruit, train, and manage the kitchen team.
- Have strong administrative, financial, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be adaptable and can live and work in a remote area.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Executive chef and from a luxury island resort background.
- A Bachelor's Degree/Culinary and fluency in English is essential for the role.
