Location: Karachi, Pakistan


Introduction to the Aga Khan University:The Aga Khan University is a private, international university committed to international standards of excellence in teaching, research and service. This is a grant-funded contractual position in AKDN dHRC.


Job Role / Responsibilities:The incumbent will coordinate with stakeholder, gather requirement of project, develop process workflow, help developers to understand project requirements, design wireframes and develop scenarios, prepare requirement gathering document(technical and functional both) and getting signoff from stakeholders on requirements. He/she will also assist in testing the application before implementation in the field and/or publishing the application.


You will be responsible to:


  • define document templates and getting signoff from stakeholder on requirements
  • act as thinkers and analyzers - with the ability to engage with stakeholders to understand and respond to their needs in rapidly changing business environments
  • design and develop workflow diagram, UML flow and low level process document
  • gather functional and system requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
  • develop and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
  • evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile differences, and assemble high-level information into details
  • assist in testing application before implementation in the field and/or publishing the application
  • develop training manual and video content of the application
  • proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholder to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following as needed: (Functional requirements, Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs).

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:You should have:


  • a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience with a Business degree
  • at least two years' experience as a Business Analyst, experience of gathering and/or 
  • experience in using Visio & documentation tool to prepare Process mapping (Current & Future State)
  • experience with wireframing application
  • strong process-minded thinking, problem solving abilities/solution oriented
  • excellent logical and analytical skills to help define solutions for business problems
  • great verbal and written communication.
