About the Role: 


As an SMB Inbound 10-29 Manager, you have an exciting opportunity to lead a team of five Senior Sellers. We are searching for strong communicators who have consistently proven themselves able to attain their sales team targets while collaborating with other departments to develop strategies to solve complex business problems. SMB Inbound 10-29 managers are hyper-focused on creating a robust and positive team culture while working cross-functionally with other departments to develop strategies and procedures to lead and motivate their teams to achieve and exceed their sales targets.


What You'll Do:


  • Create a robust and positive team culture focused on teamwork and empathy
  • Lead, motivate, and support team members to achieve and exceed their sales targets.
  • Act as a product expert and resource to team members with product and pricing-related questions.
  • Measure sales KPIs and coach direct reports on best practices for leading their teams while ensuring adherence to daily KPIs and the Inbound sales process.
  • Perform quarterly performance reviews and hold weekly 1:1 meetings with direct reports.
  • Lead and construct a weekly WBR for your direct reports
  • Own part of the weekly WBR with upper management and present weekly updates
  • Critically solve problems related to process, pricing, and assigned ad-hoc projects
  • Create performance and development strategies for the team to reach quotas and KPIs consistently
  • Ensure team compliance with company policies and Lessonly training
  • Conduct recorded DKO/DDB sessions daily and upload the recorded meeting links to our tracker.
  • Conducting 20-29 recorded sessions weekly through all 20-29 SQOs.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s with your direct reports and save them in a repository. 
  • Conduct at least one recorded call-coaching session per AE weekly.
  • Develop and maintain best practices for weekly and monthly forecasts. 
  • Ensure all the opportunities reflect the right opportunity stage.
  • Audit your team's trial and stand-alone camera sales and share your feedback on our trackers.
  • Ensure there are zero opportunities without PAINT+B notes from your AEs and yours in the manager section every Friday. 
  • Audit all close-lost opportunities from your team and report on reasoning. 
  • Audit all QA warnings and update progress on our internal tracker.
  • Provide team coverage plan in your absence and CC 2nd line and Director. Submit the request in Workday.

What We're Looking For:


  • 3+ years in an inbound/outbound sales role
  • Preferably 1+ years as a Sales Manager leading a team
  • Broad understanding of user and stakeholder landscape relevant to Motive
  • You should be able to manage complex initiatives and balance priorities based on their importance to the team and the company’s success.
  • Your ability to work cross-functionally with other departments is crucial in this role. We believe in the power of collaboration, and your contribution to solving common business problems is highly valued.
