CONTENT STRATEGIST
The content strategist will be responsible for creating a cohesive content strategy that aligns with the organisation's objectives, target audience, and brand identity.
Content Planning and Strategy Development:
- Conducting content audits to assess existing content assets and identify gaps.
- Defining content goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with business objectives.
- Developing a content strategy that outlines the content types, topics, formats, and channels to be utilised.
- Tailoring content according to different platforms i.e. social media, email, agent marketing platforms and In-App messaging.
- Audience Research and Persona Development:
- Conducting audience research to understand the target audience's needs, preferences, and behaviour.
- Developing user personas based on the company’s current transacting customer to represent different segments of the target audience.
- Providing guidance on content creation, including tone of voice, messaging, and style guidelines.
- Ensuring content is optimised for search engines (SEO) and adheres to best practices for accessibility and usability.
- Content Distribution and Promotion:
- Developing distribution plans to reach the target audience through various channels, including website, social media, email, and other digital platforms.
- Identifying opportunities for content syndication, partnerships, and collaborations to extend reach.
- Content Governance and Workflow Management:
- Establishing content governance processes to maintain consistency, quality, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Implementing workflow management systems to streamline content creation, review, and approval processes.
- Providing training and support to internal teams on content-related projects.
- Analytics and Optimization:
- Analysing content performance metrics, such as traffic, engagement, and conversion rates, to assess the effectiveness of the content strategy.
- Using data insights to identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.
- A/B testing and experimenting with different content approaches to optimise results.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in marketing strategy and content creation
- Familiarity with brand strategy and setting brand guidelines
- Preferably has experience in advertising industry
- Strong understanding of platform-wise tailored content
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to information accuracy
