Head of Software Engineering - Lahore

Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and stakeholders, to define project requirements and deliverables.

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance software applications, both on the Front End and Back End.

· Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and software development methodologies.

· Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and frameworks related to Front End and Back End development.

· Work closely with the DevOps team to deploy and manage software applications on cloud platforms, specifically AWS.

· Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.

Must Haves

· Proven experience as a Software Engineering Manager or similar leadership role.

· Strong proficiency in Front End development, particularly with Angular.

· Excellent skills in Back End development, specifically with PHP Laravel.

· Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

· Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

· Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
