Ipas is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) that works to assist the Government of Pakistan in achieving the country’s commitment towards Sustainable Development Goal 3 (good health and well-being). It seeks to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity associated with complications due to unsafe practices. Improving reproductive healthcare is vital to preserve women’s reproductive capacity (fertility). We collaborate with provincial governments (in Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) and the ICT region to provide technical assistance and support for strengthening the public and private healthcare system. We improve the provision of maternal healthcare services based on nationally approved guidelines and recommended technologies such as uterine evacuation and healthy spacing methods. We help to upgrade government-run hospitals and medical facilities by providing need-based equipment, supplies, and training to health care practitioners. In one of our project, we are looking for an M&E officer to plan and implement the monitoring and follow-up system for training in hospitals/health facilities and health workers in the community. The M&E officer will provide technical and administrative support for monitoring and evaluation activities.
Ipas Pakistan is looking for an M&E expert with at least 4 years of relevant experience. The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will be responsible for delivering technical and implementation assistance to the Ipas Pakistan Monitoring and Evaluation Unit. The M&E Officer will play a key role in devising and executing the quarterly M&E work plan to facilitate effective monitoring and evaluation activities. Collaborating with program teams, partners, and external consultants, the officer will actively participate in routine monitoring tasks as needed. A core focus of the role is to uphold the quality of data entry while consistently meeting established deadlines. This role includes managing additional responsibilities such as helping admin and logistic tasks including but not limited to preparing for trainings, data backups, retrieving data when necessary, and maintaining the confidentiality of information contained in the data forms.
