Job Description:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure the procurement of quality products and services at competitive prices by identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and establishing strong vendor relationships.
- Oversee the performance of suppliers, ensuring they meet quality standards, delivery schedules, and pricing agreements.
- Analyze pricing trends, market conditions, and supplier contracts to optimize costs while maintaining product quality and availability. Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on standards.
- Collaborate with various departments, including operations, finance, Product and Facilities, to align procurement activities with business objectives and ensure seamless integration across different functions.
- Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate procurement performance metrics, cost-saving initiatives, and key insights to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the procurement function and contribute to the implementation of best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and automation tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors to maintain accurate and reliable procurement records (system based).
